Other groups, including churches, have not been required to pay the fee, which amounts to $36,000 in insurance in case of an attack on the buses by angry Christians, according to the lawsuit.

Ah, so it turns out this isn't about angry atheists at all, it's actually about justifiably pissed off atheists, having to deal with bullshit because of the threat of angry christians.

Shouldn't the angry Christians be the ones to pay the repair cost if they damage the bus?

After all, don't Christians believe in fairness?

So by requiring insurance of one group, Little Rock is saying that christians are out of control thugs who will trash public property if it shows something they don't like? Good going Little Rock, you know your citizens well.

Kinda reminds me of certain cartoons being published, and a certain religion's followers responded badly. Obviously, more than one religious group's followers can be expected to misbehave under certain circumstances. 'Cept our group here at home is folksier.
